Having no other option left, Prince Shushim folds his hands and asks for forgiveness from Ashoka. After this, Samrat Bindusar warns Shushim that he should not get any news of his misbehavior again. That night, all the stable hands thank Ashoka for having stood up alone for them. At the same time, the soldiers come and ask Ashoka to come with them as the Samrat wants to meet him immediately. Samrat Bindusar on meeting Ashoka, asks him that why did he not say a word about the inhuman treatment done to him by Prince Shushim. After the conversation, both Samrat Bindusar and Ashoka shake hands in friendship and seeing this, Chanakya is pleased. On the other hand, a secret messenger of Helena takes a message to her father. There in Charulata's chamber, Charulata asks Shushim not to waste his time and energy bothering about petty things and asks him to concentrate on being declared the Prince of Magadh. There in the Samrat's Chamber, the Samrat asks Dharmaa for forgiveness but she stops him. Samrat then says that Ashoka needs to be trained in the royal school and train him to become a leader.
